Matthew Hassett graduated with Masters from RMIT University in 2008. An experienced practitioner, Matthew has been running our Healesville and Doncaster clinics for 10 years. 

Matthew brings his warm and friendly nature to his Osteopathic treatments, as well as the odd silly joke. His aim is to help people of all ages overcome the physical stresses of everyday life. 

Matthew has a whole health approach to Osteopathy. He is very thorough with his general health and osteopathic musculoskeletal examination and has strong working relationships with local GP Doctors. 

Matthew has a special interest in BPPV, a condition that causes dizziness in sufferers, and he has undertaken additional training to best assist these patients. Other clinical interests include sporting health, injury, children and senior patients. 

Matthew continues to attend courses and seminars in his field of interest in order to maintain a high standard of knowledge and expertise. 

When not at the clinic, Matthew can be found kicking the footy with his three young kids, or watching Game of Thrones with his wife.

Kyle Milgate graduated from RMIT in 2016 with a Bachelor of Health Science/Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy). He is excited to be back practicing in his home town of Healesville. 

Kyle finds it rewarding to work with patients. He understands their desire to return to the activities they enjoy, without the hindrance of pain. 

Kyle has added qualifications in myofascial dry needling and cupping, as well as clinical pilates. He incorporates these skills into his osteopathic approach, drawing from a range of manual techniques and exercise prescription to meet the needs of each individual.

Kyle has a clinical interest in a wide range of conditions including sporting injuries and headaches.

Dr Lauren Boundy graduated from Victoria University in 2000.

Lauren aims to help you get the most out of your body so you can function at your best, no matter your age or stage in life.

Lauren has a special interest in headaches, jaw pain, neck pain and postural aches & stress. This interest led Lauren to add further qualifications in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy, which addresses the important mechanics of breathing, eating and swallowing. 

Lauren holds qualifications in Breastfeeding Counselling (cert IV) and has a growing paediatric practice with a focus on lactation support. Lauren has a keen interest in women’s health and pre- and post-natal care for mums.

Lauren also runs an osteopathic clinic in Frankston and is busy coaching her daughter's netball team, barracking for her son's basketball team, walking the dogs and trialling new gluten-free recipes in the kitchen.

Liora Dafner-Beach has recently moved to beautiful Healesville.  She graduated from Victoria University where she completed her masters looking at practitioner sensitivity in range of motion palpation. She later returned to Victoria University to lecture in biomechanics in 2011 and 2012.

Liora enjoys treating people of all ages, and tailors her approach to the individual as well as their presenting condition. She is committed to encouraging self-management and takes time to formulate patient specific rehabilitation plans and discuss ways to optimise ergonomics in daily life.

Liora has a strong belief in the role of natural body movements in promoting general health, looking to the way humans evolved as a source of insight into how to stay physically in tune.

Emily Renfrey is a fully qualified Massage Therapist with a Diploma in Remedial Massage, and membership of the Myotherapy Association. 

She is also a qualified Allied Health Assistant working in acute and sub-acute hospital wards in the outer Eastern suburbs. In this work Emily assists Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists providing inpatient rehabilitation by running exercise groups and rehabilitation programs.

Emily’s treatment focus aims to alleviate pain, to increase functional mobility, and improve quality of life. She provides education as well as practical treatment, and strongly believes in empowering her patients towards their health goals.

Emily has been working in the Yarra Valley for 6 years and has fantastic standing with local Allied Health professionals and GP’s.

Remedial massage works well in conjunction with other health modalities like osteopathy, physiotherapy and exercise physiology. Emily is happy to converse with your current Allied Health professional to help provide continuity of care towards your health goals.
