Qualifications
B.H.Sci / B. App.Sci (Osteopathy)
Member of Osteopathy Australia
Hi, my name is Carmen. I am dedicated to achieving your health goals through holistic approaches; with special attention to facets of your pain like your physical health and mental wellbeing. I strongly believe in self-independence, and as such will tailor treatments and rehabilatory exercises to best suit your life-style and ability so you can achieve your pain and lifestyle goals. Hence, depending on what your pain presentation may be it can change what kind of treatment approach I use; this may mean a difference in soft tissue massages and mobility work, or incorporating dry needling and cupping. I treat any and all injuries, from acute neck strains to chronic back pains, to pains from being at the desk or in the driver’s seat all day.
I struggled with hypermobility issues throughout my youth (undiagnosed at the time). It was only much later that I identified that my aches and pain flare-ups were due to compensations in the body from hypermobile joints. The constant feeling of knowing that something wasn’t quite right in my body, yet having no answers constantly left me frustrated growing up. However, now I have been able to address these compensatory actions causing pain, and was able to become self-sufficient in my journey through recovery. This has shaped me to become the Osteopath that I am today, as my lived experiences of dealing with the frustrations of pain drive me to provide the best possible treatments and care I can.
When I’m not working as an osteo, you’ll find me either spending quality time with family and friends or experimenting with recipes in the kitchen.

Dr Angela Lui (Osteopath)
Qualifications
B.H.Sci / B. App.Sci (Osteopathy)
Member of Osteopathy Australia
Angela graduated from RMIT University in 2023. During her final year of studies, she completed observations at Healesville Osteopathy and was enamoured by the warm, welcoming atmosphere of the clinic, the friendliness of the locals, and the mesmerising landscapes. This made her keen to join the Healesville Osteo team, and we were equally excited to have her!
Angela is a caring and friendly practitioner with a passion for helping others. She traces this passion back to her childhood, influenced by her mother's role as a Chinese medicine doctor. Witnessing the profound impact of hands-on treatments on people's lives fueled Angela's ambition to become an Allied Health practitioner.
Angela's interests in osteopathy are diverse, spanning from sports and spinal injuries to cranial osteopathy and indirect techniques. She is dedicated to furthering her expertise in these areas through ongoing education and training as she advances in her career.
Angela has attained a certificate in level 1 myofascial dry needling and cupping and has also been actively involved as a sports trainer at local footy clubs and sporting events.
In her leisure time, Angela enjoys crocheting plushies, sketching, gardening or spending time with friends and family at a local cafe.
